Most loungewear brands sell only sets — a top and bottom bundled together, one combination, take it or leave it. We do it differently. Almost everything in our catalogue — Henley Tops, Loungewear Pants and Shorts, Cami Tops — is sold as its own separate piece, at its own price, so you build the combination rather than accepting ours.
The most practical reason is sizing. Bodies don't come in matching proportions — plenty of people wear a Medium top comfortably but need a Large in bottoms, or the reverse. A traditional fixed set simply doesn't accommodate that; you either compromise on one piece or you don't buy the set at all. Selling separately means sizing each piece to how you actually fit, not to how it fits together on a hanger.
Wear patterns are different too. Tops tend to get worn and washed more often than bottoms in a typical loungewear rotation — which means most people actually want more tops than bottoms, or the reverse, not a strict one-to-one ratio. Buying separately lets you weight your own rotation toward what you'll genuinely reach for, instead of ending up with a matching bottom you never wear as much as its top.
Then there's just taste. Since we make coordinating colours across pieces — Soft Pink Henley Top with Soft Pink Loungewear Pants or Shorts — you can buy the obvious matching pair, or mix a soft pink top with black bottoms if that's more your speed. Nothing about it is pre-decided for you.
And practically: you're not paying for a bottom you don't need just to get the top you actually wanted, or the other way round. You choose exactly what goes into your wardrobe — nothing bundled in that you didn't ask for.
That said, sometimes you just want the matching look done for you. Our pyjama and loungewear sets cost less than buying each piece separately, and you still choose a size for each piece at checkout, so a Medium top and a Large bottom is no problem. Same freedom, with the combination already put together.
