Bamboo vs. Cotton vs. Satin: Which Fabric Is Right for You?

Picking a fabric for loungewear isn't just a style choice — it changes how something actually feels to live in. Here's the honest breakdown of our three, so you're not guessing.

Bamboo (88% viscose from bamboo, 12% spandex) is the most "everyday" of the three — soft, stretchable, moisture-wicking, and naturally antimicrobial. It's the one to reach for if you want something that moves with you and stays fresh through a long day at home  — perfect for hot humid weather and all day comfort. Try it in the Soft Henley Top or Soft Robe.

100% cotton is medium-thickness and a little more structured — cozy and finished with subtle embroidery details for that extra touch. It's the fabric we reach for in robes and layering pieces, like the Unisex Cotton Robe, because it holds its shape well and doesn't cling — perfect for aircon nights.

Satin (95% polyester, 5% spandex) is the outlier — smooth, glossy, non-stretchable, and most importantly effortlessly pretty. It's genuinely the most "occasion" of the three, and earns a spot in regular rotation too. The Satin Pyjama Top and Pants set is a good place to start.

If you only remember one thing: bamboo for everyday stretch and breathability (perfect for hot humid weather and all day comfort), cotton for structured warmth and layering (perfect for aircon nights), satin for smoothness and a bit of polish (effortlessly pretty). None of them is "better" — they're just built for different moments.
