Why Bamboo Fabric Feels Different

If you've never worn bamboo fabric, the first thing you'll notice is how light it feels — almost like a cool hand against your skin, even after a few hours. That's not an accident. It's how the fibre is built.

Our bamboo pieces are made from 88% viscose from bamboo and 12% spandex — a blend that gives you the breathability of a natural fibre with just enough stretch to move with you. A few things that make it worth the hype:

It's naturally moisture-wicking. Bamboo fibres pull moisture away from your skin rather than trapping it, which is a big part of why it feels cooler than cotton on a warm Singapore night.

It's antimicrobial and hypoallergenic. Bamboo has natural properties that resist odour-causing bacteria — genuinely useful for anything you're sleeping in or lounging around the house in for hours at a stretch.

It's wrinkle-resistant. Pull it out of a drawer after a long day and it still looks like something you'd want to be seen in, not just something you're hiding under a blanket.

It's sustainable by nature. Bamboo is one of the fastest-growing plants on earth, needs far less water than cotton to cultivate, and rarely requires pesticides. Choosing bamboo is a genuinely lower-impact choice, not just a marketing angle.

A few bamboo pieces worth starting with: the Soft Henley Top in Soft Pink, the matching Loungewear Pants, and the Ribbon Cami Top in Black — casual enough for a lazy morning, put-together enough that you wouldn't think twice about answering the door in them.
